Nordic Dreamz is at Fossøyvegen 3 on the Fossøy peninsula in Vrådal, Telemark (southern Norway). The villa is right on Lake Nisser, within walking distance of the nine-hole Vrådal Golfklubb course and a five-minute drive from the Panorama Vrådal ski area. It's about a 2.5-hour drive from Kristiansand and about 3.5 hours from Oslo.

A spacious living room with a large smart TV and wood stove, underfloor heating in the hallway and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a veranda overlooking Lake Nisser. Behind the house there's a tennis court and a field for football and volleyball.

Yes, fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, perfect for working, video calls or streaming during your stay.

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Earlier check-in or later check-out is sometimes possible, so just ask when you book.

Yes. Outside high season the minimum stay is 3 nights. In high season (July and August, Dutch school holidays and public holidays) the minimum is 7 nights, and this also applies if only part of your stay falls in high season. Check current availability on the booking page.

Yes. In summer you can enjoy Lake Nisser, golf and hiking; in the winter, the Panorama Vrådal ski area is a 5-minute drive away. From winter 2026 you can also keep playing golf through the winter on the indoor golf simulator at the golf club.

Winter sports in Norway are a much broader concept than in, say, Austria, France or Switzerland. Cross-country skiing is the national pastime, so there are beautiful cross-country trails everywhere. You can also go on endless snowshoe hikes or rent a snowmobile to explore the mountains.

That makes Vrådal a destination you can enjoy to the full in all four seasons!

The nightly rate depends on the season. A high-season rate of € 300 per night applies during Dutch school holidays, around public holidays and in July/August. In January, February, May, June, September and December (outside those periods) the rate is € 250 per night, and at all other times it is € 200 per night. The booking page automatically calculates the right rate for each night of your chosen dates; the nightly amount shown in the price breakdown is an average over your whole stay.

If you travel by car, a popular route is to drive to Hirtshals (at the northern tip of Denmark) and take the ferry to Kristiansand, operated by Fjord Line (Hirtshals–Kristiansand) and Color Line. From Kristiansand it's about a 2.5-hour drive (along a beautiful route) to Vrådal.

You can of course also drive all the way to Norway via Denmark and Sweden, for example through Bremen–Hamburg–Copenhagen–Malmö–Gothenburg. From Utrecht that's 1,565 km to Vrådal.

By plane: there are several direct flights to Kristiansand or Oslo (Gardermoen), and from there it's an easy drive to the villa in a rental car. See our tips page for the full route information.

Yes, a car is recommended. Vrådal is rural, and a car gives you the freedom to visit restaurants, hiking routes, the ski area and the surrounding villages.

Yes. The marina is 100 metres away and the Vrådal Golfklubb course borders the property. Canoes and SUPs can be rented at the golf club, and we also have our own SUP for guests, which you'll find in the storage room.

Walk on our own island (Fossøy), take a longer hike up Venelifjell or the top of Panorama Vrådal, go skiing or cross-country skiing, eat well at GK Catering or Bjaaland Bygderestaurant, or play golf, swim or go boating straight from Fossøy. See our tips page for all our recommendations.
